Gardner Dancing Gentleman Figurine

This is a bit of a treat - a figurine made by Gardner / Moscow in the early 19th century. It is of a dancing young gentleman / farmer and is superbly modeled and hand painted to make this one fun figurine :) Very much in the style of the period in terms of clothes, etc. He is wearing a long greytop with a colorful belt, has one hand on his hat and is standing in his long black boots on tp of a nice base painted to mimic the ground with some gilded relief scrolls all along the edge. The figure is in perfect condition with some very minor wear to the gilding along the edge of the base. The piece is marked underneath with the impressed Saint George slaying the dragon mark as well as TAPAHEPZ (or Gardner in cyrillic letters) and a black number 119 and impressed number 8. The figurine is 4.75 inches tall and the base has a diameter of about 2 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
